Huge Contributor in Social Development Field
Hello sir, first of all hearty congratulations for your new book and best wishes for its widespread successes. Given the dearth of such an indepth and experienced based guidebook, I think your book will be a valuable resource for honest ngos for enriching and equipping themselves with multi dimensional knowledge and skill for running their organization efficiently. My own experience is that most ngos are weak in book keeping and accounting and financial management ( internal control systems, cost efficiency and effectiveness, etc). Also financial vis a vis program monitoring are areas ngos lag. Governance is one key area through which most ngos manipulate financial and program performances. In most cases, the key person runs the organisation virtually as a sole proprietor in that other board members are merely the yes-persons of the key person. Hopefully, your book will help ngos becoming better and more professional.
